Will This Fit? You need a RIO Wonder Wheeler beach cart with the round tube rear legs (some versions of the cart come with an oval shaped tube). Measure the distance between the rear cart legs from outside of leg to outside of leg, it should be 18.5" wide or less for our kit to fit.

Description
The Balloon Wheel Conversion Kit adds our 12" balloon wheels to your RIO Wonder Wheeler Beach Cart. This drastically improves how easily the cart rolls in sand, even the soft sugar like sand you find on most beaches. The balloon wheels glide on top of the sand, instead of digging trenches like the stock rear wheels. RIO recommends that their carts are leaned back and pulled once you get into the sand. The beach cart is not designed to be pushed on all 4 wheels in the sand, this will damage the folding hinges on the beach cart.
Balloon Wheel Conversion Kit Includes:
- 12″ Balloon Wheels – 20mm bushings (Set of 2)
- 34" long x 20mm Aluminum Axle
- 2 Axle Boots (connects axle to frame with no drilling)
- 3 Sets of Spacers (1/2″, 3/4″ & 1″ aluminum spacers)
- 2 Straight Lynch Pin Clips (holds wheels on axle)
- 2 Curved Lynch Pin Clips (connects adapters to cart legs)

Low PSI Recommended
Balloon wheels will build up air pressure with heat by nature. Therefore, you should never inflate your wheels to the maximum air pressure of 3 PSI. Too much air will lead to deformation and overstretching, thus reducing your balloon wheels' lifespan significantly. For the smoothest rolling effect, always keep your wheels under 1 PSI, and as close to 0 PSI as possible.
Inflating Wheels For the First Time
The wheels come in a square box with no air in them. Use the hand pump to slowly fill the wheels up — an air compressor inflates them too quickly and therefore may damage your brand new balloon wheels. You want to put just enough air to start to round them out. Again, these wheels are designed to stay at a low PSI so they can squat on softer surfaces. The rubber will soften up in warm temperatures. In cold temperatures, they will roll a little stiff, until they warm up.
Maintaining the Wheels When Not Using
When storing your cart in the off-season or when storing the cart, let the air out of your wheels to ensure they are not in a situation where air pressure can increase. Balloon wheels require maintenance, so check the air pressure often. You are using them in the sun and on very hot surfaces, which will cause the air pressure in any style wheel to build. Balloon wheels use a stretchable material, so too much pressure will cause the wheels to stretch and/or deform.
Repair and Warranty
Do your wheels come with a warranty? No, no one offers a warranty for these balloon wheels. We do cover manufacture defects, typically not holding air. You have 30 days to contact us to see if a wheel is covered, we do not pay shipping for you to send them back to us to inspect or us to send them back to you unless a replacement is needed - in that circumstance we will pay the return shipping.

Fast shipping + fit as described on website + sturdy build! I expect my cart will roll much better on sand. If you are replacing the hard plastic wheels, this kit will add a little weight to your cart. That said, the wheels are very easy to remove by hand to reduce the weight and width for transporting in a vehicle.

It was easy and fit perfectly.
Nice product went together easily. I watched video so I knew what to do. Should have paper to explain the different size spacers. You want to make sure you have some play in the axle shaft so wheels turn freely. If you take up all the slack wheels will bind. I know that, but others may not.
